He shouldn't cause any harm to your bltch. My neutered male used to tie with my in season bitches without any ill effects. However, it would be best to keep them apart if you are not with them as he could be very persistant.

Neutering a male will eliminate the sperm -- it will not necessarily eliminate the breeding behavior, especially if your male was neutered after reaching maturity. I have neutered boys in my kennel who will still try to breed my girls -- they were neutered at 4+ years of age, so the idea was well-instilled by then.

He will not impregnate your b itch, but he will harrass her. Something else to think about is the sanitary repercussions of your b itch being repeatedly bred. Pyometra is a potentially deadly uterine infection -- the repeated introduction of bacteria to your girl's reproductive tract by your male is a good way to get her in trouble.

Of course, spaying your b itch will stop all of this. In the meantime, however, you would do well to keep him separated from her.

I remember the first time that happen to me. I got my male neutered next thing I knew he tied with my female.. I called every vet in my town asking how can this be. I was informed that they still can mate just can't have puppies. I said to them.. Do you mean that I put money into him just for him to have fun.. The vet said you got it lol. Lesson learned for me, so many years ago. The trouble with it now is that I have to keep him away from my female because if she mates with him she won't mate with the one I want her too.

If she wasn't in any pain it shouldn't hurt her. But I would keep them apart when she is in heat. You might have to get her spayed too.

How old was the male when you had him neutered? And how long has he been neutered? Dogs can still impregnate a female for up to six weeks after being neutered. And what you are seeing might just mean that the hormones are still some what in his system. You should have your female spayed as well to stop this. It would also be best for her as she could get a nasty infection that could cause her death

It won't hurt your female husky to have sex with your malamute. But yes if you haven't had her spayed she is going to be in heat and he is going to mount her. It could get that he starts mounting other dogs and people too. This is going to get embarrassing in front of guests so I would get her spayed asap.

desexed male dogs do mount female dogs. They can't ejaculate though. Do worry my desexed Husky mounts one of my female dogs (she's much smaller than him). Trust me she knows how to say no....

just because he is clipped - does not mean he forgot how to use the
equipment! LOL

If it had hurt her - she would have been screaming for help

I would not worry
