This is common.
Dogs have a sixth sense. They can perceive things we don't see...and in that, that is why your dog senses what is around you.
If you do have a ghost, it sounds like it is trying to get your attention.
You may have more than one ghost or the ghost you are perceiving as non-dangerous, may indeed be something to worry about.
There is a grave difference between moving objects to play with a dog, or moving them to get attention and moving them to mess with people. I'd be concerned and trying to decypher whether this is a ghost or a poltergeist (demon).
I think I'd say some prayers around the house...I'd tell whatever it is, or whoever it is, that it can't stay there.
I'd trust my dog. He's obviously seeing something going on that you're not percieving.
Good luck. :)

You may have more than one spirit or being either occuping or visiting your house. My house gets really cold sometimes. This is usually a sign that there is supernatural activity going on.
Is your dog's growl a defensive one, or is he just trying to alert you to something? There is a difference. Often if it's a defensive growl your dog will become tense and the hair on his back or shoulders will stand up. If he's just trying to alert you he will be more relaxed and the hair won't be on end.
Do you ever fell anxious, nervous or just "off" when he's seeing things you don't? Pay attention to your body. While your mind may lie to you, you're body won't. If you are feeing nervous or uncomfortable, pay attention to it! This is the natural flight or fight instinct that we are all born with, but are often taught to ignore as we get older. You *know* when things aren't right, it's just a matter of whether or not you pay attention to those feelings.
The fact that you've seen toys fly across the room concerns me. This is usually a sign of agressive negative energy. You may have upset this spirit by bringing the dog into the house. You should have a psychic or someone who specializes in supernatural activity visit your house and give you their opinion.
If you are a Christian you can say a prayer of protection over yourself and your house, and ask God to protect you and all who enter your house. You can also speak with a member of the clergy (pastor, preist, rabbi, etc) to pray over your house. Some people think that Christians don't believe in the supernatural. I'm a Christian and I totally believe that there are both good and evil spirits that walk among us.
There are two animal communicators or "pet psychics" near me who both offer phone consultations. If you'd like email me through my profile and I can give you their contact information.
I live in an old house that was built 80 years ago. The former owner of the house still enhabits the place. He turns lights off and on all the time. Luckly for me, he stays in my landlord's portion of the house and not mine. Our house is on pilings over the water, across the street from the first church in our town. Water is known to increase energy, and certian places can be "hot spots" or portials to the spirit world.

It could possibly be true that your dog sees something you don't. I have read many articles pertaining to this phenomena. I also have seen my cat look like she is watching someone or something move about my apartment. Although I can't see it, she can. I believe that it is true that they can see or sense another person or spirit as their senses are more sensitive than ours. Do some searching online. There are many web sites that have articles and stories about spirits. Hope this helps!

Demon's can take different forms like one minute they could b a cute little kid just playin with the dog & then something totally different the next. That could be why the dog is playing sometimes cuz he's seeing the kid or person playing with him & then another time he sees it as someone different that he doesn't trust.

Yea, ur post is very disturbing. thanx alot, now i really cant sleep.
Lol. My doberman is sleeping with me tonight. (like he dosent anway)
Call an exorcist or something. Maybe your dog is saying, " um *****, why the **** if you know theres ******* ghost in this ******* house? why arnt we ******* gone in a normal ******* house without a poltergeist, watch my ******* *** is gunna end up in the T.V. and your face is going to peel off."
But if you are a religious person and you do believe in god. What your should do to is put a crucifix above your bed and front and back door. Try to keep out the bad spirtits, i dunno. look up some info, but now im really scared the more i talk about preventing it. lol.

I firmly believe that people can't see spirits cause we are told as children that we can't. Dogs are never told this (obviously) and so they still see spirits. The only bad part is that the spirits can see you in the shower.
