The reason I ask is my four month old American Bulldog drinks gallons of water. I have had the breed of dog for over 6 years and never had a puppy drink like this? Could it be kidney problems?

We want a purebred and my children keep asking for one! I just would like to know if a puppy will get along with a sugar glider (we have one). And what breed loves everyone? Links are acceptable!

When i first purchased my lab puppy he was passing soft (but not runny) stools, i asked the vet about it and he recommended changing food and feeding a bit less, which i did and it became better. Although his stools are still on the softer side. I now have a golden puppy and have weened her on to the same food, her stools are also now a bit on the soft side. I am feeding pets at home own brand for large breed puppys as recommended by a friend with labs. The ingredients are good but i wonder if anyone can recommend a different brand or have any advice??? Apart from being worried about the dogs it is real hard to clear up properly after them??????????/

My brother recenlty adopted a rescue dog. All they knew about her was that she'd recently had a litter of puppies but then had been tied up and left outside the shelter.

Since he's had her she's constantly had diarrhoea. He's taken her to the vet who ruled out gastroentoritis and put her on a bland diet of chicken and rice for a week. Now she's back on her normal food again (it's a complete dried food that you mix with water) but she's still no better. She's back at the vets again today. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing it? Thanks.

I have some raw uncooked pork chops and I know they are good but I won't be cooking them and I already froze them once so instead of tossing them in the trash can I give them to my Alaskan Malimute dog? she would love them but will they make her sick? she is used to eating regualr dog food. Thanks

The dog is a Chihuahua Fox Terrier mix, 6 weeks old.

He has been eating regularily and just today his stomach has been making these farty sounding, gurgling noises. It was only until later in the evening. The dog's stool is regular, and he seems to be in no pain, just sleeping in a little ball at my feet. Is this normal for a puppy to happen once in a while? Or should I be concerned.

He is a 2 year old purebred and is giant. He shakes in his back legs up to his hips and he doesn't stand all the way up. I am worried about his hips, but I'm wondering what else it could be.

Ok im about to get a pitt bull from a rescue shelter. He lives with kids and he loves other dogs. He is still a pup, hes only 18 months old, he is really sweet. I have a 14 month old baby boy. I will never leave them alone together, but do you think its a bad idea. We have lots of room for him to run and play. I really belive that banning pitt bulls is wrong, because i had a pitt bull when i was a kid. She died of cancer when she was 12. She never bit a soul(dog or human). I think it is all in how the dog is raised. What do you think?

I got some 18's and some 20's. The 20's fit better, but I still think bigger would be better. Where besides Wal-Mart can I get bigger clothes? She's a German Shorthaired Pointer. Fifty Pounds.
