It might also be back pain, or abdominal pain. Sometimes it's even knee pain... but whether it's back, hips, knees, or belly, he's hurting. Have the vet check him out.

You may need to talk to your vet. I have a black lab/great dane mix that is 6 years old and I've seen him shake his front and back legs but i've never been concerned about it.... Here's a little laugher.... people ask me how big my dog it they hear black lab so they think small, then they hear great dane and they think HUGE. Well I say picture a pony and think a little smaller.... Thats how big my dog is!

You need to get him to a vet for a good exam, including x-rays of his hips. In addition to possibly being hips it can also be a stifle problem, wobblers or an injury. In order to get proper diagnosis and treatment you must get him in to the vet.

Take him to the vet, he could have what is known as Cervical Spondylopathy or what is known as Wobbling...it is caused by a vertabra in the neck. Don't take any chances get him vet checked.

Do not let him sleep on concrete! The lime in it will absorber into his joints! Also, have you change his food, my dog had a seizure when I did.
