cute puppy, you can tell that this is a boxer mix, i would guess that the hound is more than likely a walker, just on the color of the pup. walker hounds tend to have a lot of white in them, if this is the case he will get approx. 50-65 pounds. he looks like he has taken on more of the boxer traits, they are great dogs, i hope you will give him a very loving home. thank god that they are people that will save a puppy from a shelter mix breeds makes the best pets. good luck!!!!!!!

How cute can it get?? Ask the shelter people, they usually have a good sense of adult size. Boxer standard is 55-65 lbs depending on the parents. It is a hound mix, but does not say what kind of hound... beagle will be small, bloodhound, big...
My best guess, I am thinking about 40-55 lbs full grown.
edit; Alex, your answer is rude. People are just giving opinions. I do rescue as well as show, flyball, obedience and agility. There is no call to act like some AKC "elitist"! Attitudes like yours is what gives the AKC a bad name. SHAME ON YOU! News flash, most people just want a good pet and can not care less about pureness of breed! Pure breeds can and do have many genetic and temperament issues (e.g. spaniel rage) that are not seen in mixed breeds, and people value that as well. Asker, please ignore this person, we are not all like this. GOOD for you adopting from rescue- signed- not an idiot, but not an elitist breeder either!
and btw, a basset IS a large dog on short legs! They have the same issues such as bloat and degenerative spine disease as german sheps do.

Kudos to you on looking to get a dog from the shelter. I got my very first dog from a shelter and she will be 14 in April.
Those dogs are quite adorable. All seem to have rather small sized paws, but it is hard to tell from a picture. Boxers, that I am familiar with, are normally medium sized dogs. Paws do give a good estimation on the size the dog will be. I had a lab that had monster paws when he was a pup. By the time he was 1, he weighed in at 70 lbs. My 14 yr old supposed lab/chow mix had small paws. She weighs 23 lbs.

They look like they will be medium sized. Probably no more than 35 lbs. Just a guess though. There is really no way to tell exactly with mixed breeds.

I have a boxer/hound mix. Not quite as sturdy as that one looks, but be prepared - they'll get into everything. We have to put our food on TOP of our refrigerator. He stands up for everything, and can climb and crawl to places our other dogs don't even dream of.
Sweet dog, but high maintenance.

On petfinder, the shelter listed him as Medium, because they expect that he will be a medium dog when he is full grown. My shelter also has petfinder, and we always list if we expect a puppy to be small, medium, or large.
