If the dog is currently being fed low quality or home brand dog food, that can be one of the major reasons why the breath is foul. Also, if the owner of the dog doesn't clean the dogs teeth, that can also contribute to foul smelling breath. If the teeth have never been cleaned or they aren't cleaned on a regular basis, their could be something wrong inside the mouth. Take the dog to the vet if this is the case.

Dogs do not get daily brushing like humans do, this is a major factor in their bad breath, they also eat various things that don't help- some might eat feces, most eat grass, their food, some dirt, so diet is another factor. You could try to help by getting teeth cleaner type-toys and treats that are made for helping your dogs breath (e.g. greenies) Taking your dog to a dogie-dentist would also help majorly (not only help their breath, but also help in their health- prevents gum disease). Their diet. Build up on their teeth and gums. Poor dental hygiene. Just like humans.
It probably wouldn't hurt if the dog doesn't drink coffee or smoke!

its because of the fOod that it eats..jUSt like us.. and the foul breath came from the chemicals in his tummy(because of digesting food..)
it's actually nOrmal fOr dogs
