with a neighbor whom she knows and likes and who has a small dog also. Around midnite the neigbor called and said my dog crying and wants to go home. I went and got her. Is she too attached to me? I would really worry if I had to be in the hospital. Should I have gone and held her a moment and then left her there or just made her stay so she can do it if I ever cant come like after surgery

We got my son another puppy for Christmas and she is the same breed Boston Terrier. And she has made a big positive impact on our lifes. She is so smart and she is 7 weeks old and already goiong to the door to let me know she needs to go out. I was scared to get another Boston because I was worried she would remind me/use of out Saddie Girl. But she has brought so much happiness to our home that I'm sure that I made the right dicision. We Really miss Sadie, but we look at this one as Sadie's Angle.

why so much about pits? why are people so happy to jump on the media bandwagon? when i was growing up it was dobermans that were bad. next it was the rottweiler. now it's the pit. when are we going to look to the owners to own up to the responsibility of taking the heat for what their dog does? show me any dog tied to a tree or thrown out in the backyard, or wearing a neiman marcus collar in a purse and i'll show you an aggressive dog. people take the time to research the breed, and train them. stop being lazy and making somone else accountable for human actions. it says a lot about society when we hold a dog fully accountable, and nothing to the human.

Pits were bred for fighting other pit bulls to the death in dog fight pits. They may seem nice but they can suddenly "snap" and kill even the owner or his child. If you dont fight them why TF would you own one? It seems pretty ghetto crazy if you ask me.

She hasn't eaten anything unusual as far as I know, but it took her a LONG long time to poop out a tiny bit of poo, about 1.5-2 inches long, and 1/2 inch wide. It seemed like she wasn't done, but she wasn't able to do any more. Is that a bad sign to something?

Why do I see a bug and put back in the wild.I see an insect and talk to it, while opening the window to let it escape. I give my dog's ice cream and cracker's for dogs. I feel that animals do have emotion and the also take care of loneliness. Am I behaving right. I take my dogs to groomers and massage them. They love me. I can feel it. Without talking, they give me, so much, and my siberiaan huskies are so good looking.

Today my dog suddenly began acting very strangly. His tail has not been up as hard as it usually is, and his nose is dry. He seems very listless and tired compared to his usual energetic happy self. Somebody please help, tell me if this is something serious and if I should have him checked out. I love my dog very much.

My 9 week old puppy is beginning to show signs of...really intense hyperness. I'm not sure if this will last a long time, but today, when he was eliminating outside, he got really hyper and began to run around, back into the house (he's never done this before) into the rooms... and we had to catch him before he could keep running around.

He's never done this before. He also seems to be biting more than usual (and harder). Is this just a sign that he's becoming more comfortable with us, and the distance between us (the human 'pack'), or is my puppy just growing up?

My eight year old cockapoo...she is fine now and is chewing on her toys. She isn't limping so I threw away that conclusion of a broken leg, and she doesn't whine or bark anymore when I touch her leg. But now she is biting me whenever I touch a body part other than her head. She'll let me pat her head but that's it. She also bit me when I tried to take away her toy. I actually was not taking it away. I was trying to squeak it so she would be excited. I have about four bites...and they hurt...like...hello. I have to go to the doctor to get them disinfected...anyways she can walk but not run, she can't jump up too high, she can't even get on the sofa, but she can jump off the bed, I just have to carry her. Maybe it was temporary, but I'm still worried, should I take her to the vet in the morning, because it's 11:45 where I am..PM. Even if she is back to her normal self? What do you think it was? She was shivering and not eating a few hours ago, but now those two are gone.

Okay, so yesterday my mum and I got her to our backyard and at first she played and messed around with her surroundings, but then she peed eventually. The next day about after she ate her lunch, we took her to the backyard but she didn't want to pee. So I brought her to my room, after about 10 minutes in my room, she suddenly peed on my floor. My mum was furious about this and she totally took it off on my dog ( don't worry my mom knows what she's doing as she successfully potty trained my last dog), and I guess my pug sorta got the message cuz she curled up in her bed and sit obediently. So about an hour after that my mum took her to the backyard and sprayed some scent that was supposed to make her pee in the spot where we sprayed the scent. Instead she just sniffed it for a few seconds and let it be.So we took her upstairs to my brother's room, and within 5 minutes, she peed! on my brother's carpet. OOHH please help me deal with this?! what's the frikkin matter wit my pug??

i have read that bull arabs are not really a breed they have just sort been bred over the years for pig hunting and have been labeld with the name bull arabs. i wanted to know though is there such thing as a pedigree bull arab with papers, which can prove that the dog is pure bred, for breeding purposes?

Ok heres the scoop. I adopted a 1 yr old Dachshund on Friday, 1/6. Its Satuday 1/7 night and I don't know what to do. I had him neutered on Friday, I went to work, and came back to a calm creature. I was wondering if he was housebroken, and today I realized he was, since he waited for me or my roomate to take him out. Feeling comfortable, today I went to work in the evening, (He was much more playful since he was obviously feeling better after being neutered), but when I came home, i found the front foor scratched up and torn because he scratched it, and my mini blind in my room chewed. I need help... Im not sure if CRATE TRAINING him will help, since I believe the main purpose for this is to make him 'go' outside, but he already does. I hear a temp. remedy may be plexi glass, but I would like to know if anyone out there may be able to help me with a more permanent solution to help train him. HELP!!!!
