It might get him sick, but its not a good idea. Dogs are not supposed to have human food its unhealthy for them, its hard on their digestive system

You probably could feed him that. It shouldn't make him sick as long as he can tolerate dairy products. It has cheese and grain products in it. But I certainly wouldn't make table food a habit with your dog.

You should feed your dog whatever your veterinarian recommends for his species or at least you should try to keep your dog eating the same food, on a daily basis.

An occasional treat from the table probably isn't all that bad, as long as it is not bones or what have you like that. But I'd use caution when varying away from the dog's normal mainstay diet.

Feeding cheese to dogs is bad IF that is all you feed the dog Other wise NO I feed mine cheese when I eat some so tell your friends brother hes wrong and I don't think you will have to worry about getting your tail kicked. Don't make a habit of feeding the dog alot of cheese.

I have a 4 y/o Lhasa apsa and her main food is dry small bites dog food, but she gets some table food mixed in with it sometimes....mac n cheese, hamb meat, veggies...she will eat anything we eat but bananas.....only thing that ever given her diarrhea is grilled steak which I think is in the marinate used so thats a no no as is chocolate.
She will not jump up on you begging for food, nor take food off a low table....she will sit there waiting for you to hand it to her or go lay down.......its all in training on that....never fed from the table only in her own dish so she doesn't associate feeding with you at the dining table, plus she knows she has always had to be sitting for me to hand her a treat....keeps the begging down also
you didn't ask for all that but was just for your info....my vet even told me to hide heartworm med in cheese for her...(or peanut butter)

NEVER feed a dog human food.

they learn to beg when you are eating and that is very annoying,

if you stick to dry dog food, your dog will always have nice smelling breath.

feeding a dog your food is like giving him junk food, it is not a healthy balanced diet and you are responsible for keeping your pet healthy.

if you want to do something nice for him, play with him and train him to be well behaved.

A canines stomach is a lot stronger than a human stomach, so they can withstand most types of food.
Just lay off feeding dogs chocolate, it could kill them!

yes you can, but dont make a habit of it. Dogs are carnivores that need vegetables as well as grains. A healthy dog enjoys people food, but watch the salt and fat intake. they are also scavengers who like to ripen their treasured food underground for a week or so. dont pamper him too much or youll end up with a sucky, picky dog. Many Many people make their own dog food, and they use the freshest food grade food available. which is people food. "people food" is not bad for dogs if you aren't giving them garbage and salt, spices and dairy

i don't think your dog will get sick i now your dog will get sick because my dog was so hungry she ate my leftover MC Donesse, and she died because she was that type of dog that eat no hunmans food, only dog food, and the reason she was so hungry because she ran out of dog food, and i ran out of money and my best friend was out of town and she spend all her money.
