no i dont think they do . But I have a few responses to people on here . to the guy who walks his pitt off the leash ,I would report you if I saw you have a dangerous dog off the leash . what if that dog were to suddenly lunge and go after somebody or somebodys 4 yr old? and your pitt ended up killing them ? how would you feel then? they are bred to fight not to be pets it is as simple as that and I for one am sick to death of ppl singing the praises of pitts . wise up people these dogs are not pets they are fighters and were bred for such . dont put a loaded weapon in the hands of a toddler , why would you put a toddler in the path of a killing machine? good luck .

No, all pit owners do not use them to fight, let alone for drug money! Anyone who believes that is UNEDUCATED!! As for the person that says we will fight you to the death like our dogs, I'll have you know YES, I will argue the point when it comes to this subject because too many people ONLY listen to what they hear from the negative media... See you can already tell, Yes I am a Pit Bull Owner, No I do not fight my dogs, no I DO NOT do drugs either. So do not put all owners in a bunch there are many many responsible DOG/PIT owners out there.

I am the owner of a 5 year old male pit. I am a professional woman. Work everyday. I do not fight my pit for any reason. He is a member of the family. Not ALL pit owners are stupid, and wanting to fight their dogs. This is a sterotype that really needs to be changed. My pit is loving and loyal. He wouldn't even know how to fight. He has been raised in an all female household, so you know he is very spoiled.

Where in the world did you ever come up with a ridiculously
absurd assertion not to mention offensive as well. I am the proud owner of the sweetest most gentle American brindled pit bull who has never bit a single person in her 10 years of life never had a fight with any other animal be it dogs or otherwise. In fact when I take her for a walk she goes without a leash. Anyone caught raising pit bulls to fight should be made to have a fight to the death themselves with other pit bull owners that raise them to fight. Now that would be something I would pay to see.

JFK and JFK Jr., his was in the plain when it went down. Gernal patton own three english bull terrires, most put htem in the pit group.

Well known sports figures who own Pit Bulls include: Tennis Star Serena Williams (Bambi), Professional Basketball Players Desmond Mason (Zane, Capone), Rashard Lewis (Cookie, Angel, Ginger), Amare Stoudemire (JT, Ace, Deuce), Alton Ford (Mischif, Rosy, Spicey, Diable +3 pups with names unknown), Tamika Dixon and Mo Vaughn.

What is Drug Money? Money to buy drugs??? No dont be stupid. They fight for much more money than to buy drugs with. Some buy houses cars food and even put kids in college just like going to work every day. Some people slaughter cows some people make beer and ciggs some people serve in the military and kill people and some people fight dogs! Dont you find it strange 2 men can go in bash each others head in for entertainment end up with the Ali syndrome and cant walk and barely talk! I dont support pit bull fights at all but i dont support ignorance. Itsmuchbigger than a petty organized fight in the park you have people flying across the globe with thousands on the line! Do a little more research b4 you make assumptions. I know people who sell dogs NOT PIT BULLS to kill and stuff with drugs. Now thats what we should be concerned about. And no its not in the genes to be violent its in mans genes to be violent. Pit Bulls dont kill people people kill pit bulls Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

No. Pit bulls are given a bad rap. If they are trained to fight and treated badly, they will get mean, and then they are trained to fight. I know a few decent animal loving people with pit bulls, and they dogs are gentle, and well behaved, wonderful pets.

Unfortunately some do. I do not believe in fighting them, they are some of the most loyal dogs you could ever have. I own one and he is very loyal to my family.

The Pit's you see on T.V. are the one that have been mistreated and traind to fight. That is so sad...

I don't and I have one. This is the same as asking if all farmers fight their chickens because we see more references to chicken-fighting than we do to chicken raising on mass media.
