i have read that bull arabs are not really a breed they have just sort been bred over the years for pig hunting and have been labeld with the name bull arabs. i wanted to know though is there such thing as a pedigree bull arab with papers, which can prove that the dog is pure bred, for breeding purposes?

LMFAO!!!

HEL* NO!!!
It's just a MUTT/MONGREL....at best a "type".
Like lurchers.

PEDIGREE is ONLY a list of PARENTS!!! It means NOTHING! YOU have a "pedigree" if you know your own parents!

You unfortunately cant get a bull arab with papers because even tho they are a recognised breed there are still no standards for them because the breed is only about 20 years old and still having problems with straight breeding. There is not enough recognised lineages to create a standard. They were actually bred from bloodhound, staffy, german shorthaired pointer and greyhound. They have been recently been putting in mastiff for the size and temperment for more of a family environment. There is also problems with who actually started the breed and there are 2 types of dogs with the same name but different crosses.
