dogs are supposed to have wet noses my my dog's nose has gotten very dry and crusty (sorry best way i could put it). Sometimes it even bleeds. why is this and what can i do to help him?

I was wondering if the dog food Life's Abundance was ok for puppies, since they only have one type. I was looking online and noticed the food i am feeding her is actually not good for her (eukanaba). Life's Abundance is supposdly one of the best.

My parents 20lb dog was given Darvocet accidentally. My dad thought the pill on the table was his vitamin, but it was not. Anything I should watch for with the dog? I tried to call animal poison control but they want a credit card and I don't have money for that unfortunately. Help!

My wife and I brought home a 7 week old male Boxer puppy yesterday, and I have a quick question about what he should eat. The breeder feeds her puppies EaglePack Adult Formula dog food, rather than giving them dog food specialized for puppies.

I'm just curious as to whether or not we should follow this, or if I should switch our little guy to puppy formula. Thoughts??

My 2 year feist sometimes knaws on his foot and toenails . He gets his nails trimmed as reccomended so I pretty well know thats not it. I've noticed he does it mostly when we are not paying him a lot of attention ( dont worry he is spoiled rotten and gets attention all the time) Do you think this is his sneeky little way to MAKE us play with him at that moment?

I get up at 4:30 am each morning, to get the kids breakfast and off to school. The only problem is my dogs are so used to getting up at this time. They dont understand Saturday and Sunday we would like to sleep in. I know they cant tell time but, If we arent up by 4:30 they make sure we are. Does your dog do this?

I went to the pet store to buy Canidae, since it was highly recommended. However, after going to three different stores, I couldn't find it so I bought Wellness Puppy Super5Mix. They told me that this is very high quality food with human grade ingredeants, which is what I wanted. Does anyone know anything about this food? Has anyone had good or bad experiences with it. I there something I should watch for as I am weaning my puppies on to it? I have never had a puppy who couldn't handle the food I had been using for years, so this is a new experience for me. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
