I completely agree with Fire.

Your dog is just freaking out about the crate. So don't confine him in there.

I have a 3' high fence that is purchased at Petco. I make a circle and put his bed inside with some toys. This is still confined but not so claustrophobic

Good Luck

This is a dog that is very stressed about being crated. Trying putting the crate in a high-traffic area of the house and putting her in there for short periods while people are around. She may just feel like she has been abandoned. Some people have had success with "doggy Prozac", but that should only be reserved for extreme cases.

Spray a mixture of tabasco sauce and water on the cage. No more biting!
