He always licks them and I can't get him to stop. I'd try to put those little plugs in, but I'm afraid he'd eat them. What can I do about it?

He's been like this since we got him. He's now 4 months old. His fur is also very dry and dull. We give him Science Diet puppy along with some supplements for a healthy coat. Any suggestions on how to improve his coat? Also, are there any sensitive skin dog foods for puppies?

Pepsi, What are the registered names of the GSD's you have shown in the ring? What breeders have you shown for as well? I am appauled at the answers you give when it comes to GSD's, Kennel's like Edan, Hickoryhill's, Joelle, are going to be surprised when I tell them they are doing it wrong with their pups not removing dewclaw's on them before they let the show pups go.

There is this place called k9 friends near where I live. They are having problems because they can't afford rent anymore and they are being kicked out of the warehouse they are using. This organization has helped many dogs that are in need of a home or have been treated with cruelty. I am a major dog lover but am not allowed to have one because my dad won't let no matter how much i ask...and believe me i DO ask!! anyways i need to raise some money for them otherwise all the 130 dogs are going to have be put to sleep and i really dont want that to happen to them...any suggestions?

I have a beautiful 8 mos. old *****, purchased with the intention of showing and future breeding. Health and temperment were my first concern when I chose her, as she is a pet first. I have a 2 year genetic guarantee.

The problem is that she has had a case of hives from beef, then went on too blow her coat, and then a Staph infection (which my vet misdiagnosed) I had another dog that we had to put down a few mos. ago, and now I think that she may have had the Staph infection too (red, smelly, itchy, sores on tummy and rear).

The question is... do I proceed with showing and my plans to possibly breed in the future? Is this a genetic flaw and she needs to be spayed? Or is this environmental, like a second vet opinion has stated?

I ask because I am genuinely concerned for her, but aslo any future pups she may produce. I am only interested in breeding if she is worthy...period!

(PennHip and NCL tests will also be done... possible allergies are my concern right now)

My Golden gets along with everyone (super friendly). Everytime I take him to Petco or Petsmart he makes sure he has to sniff every dog's butt in there to greet them. Why does he do this?

Does anyone know where i could find a freeze dried full mount in the standing position golden labrador retriever?

I know it sounds sick, but i have to find one. My father absolutely loved our dog. And well, after the dog passed away my father had him freeze dried or whatever its called. He left two days ago for a trip, and he won't be back for about a month. And yeah, the dog got destroyed. I put him in the basement cause it freaks me out, then the basement flooded. I took it to a taxidermist, and he said it couldn't be repaired. I need to find a replacement. Any help would be appreciated.

Our dog always lies in our flower beds, crumpling flowers, especially after it has been watered and the soil is moist and cool.
