If you're handy with a sewing machine you could make one with a pillow case and rice. Sew in canals in the pillow case, fill each canal with rice (yes, I'm serious) and sew off the edges so it doesn't leak. Place the pillow case in the microwave for a minute (test it out for time) and it works like a charm! Good luck! :)
One last thing, make sure you use a towel or blanket between the pillow case and your dog or else you could burn your dog. Be careful!

You can but the gel heating pads for people at Walmart or you can get the pet ones at a pet supply website. They are called Snugglesafe heating pads. The snuggle safe website is www.Snugglesafe.com and they have all kinds of pet products. They usually stay warm for 3-4 hours. We use them at the animal clinic I work at all the time. Make sure you wrap it in a towel or pillow case before giving it to your dog bc they get really hot. They are also made out of a hard plastic so it will be softer with something to pad it anyhow.

i have seen one popular one at pet stores but I dont know the brand name. They have a heating pad and a cooling pad that you can slip into a dog bed (you also have to buy the dog bed though) The heating pad you put in the microwave and the cooling pad you put in the freezer.

Look on drsfostersmith.com, or order one of their catalogues. They have several microwavable warming devices designed especially for pets that aren't very expensive. ( I think the cheapest is about $8-11, and the most expensive is $30)

They make such things. But, it will not keep your dog warm all night. Bring your dog in...make him/her part of your family. That's what dogs are....family members.
