A fox belongs to a different family where as a coyote is actually just a southern wolf

fox small long tail that is down. coyote larger then the fox smaller then a wolf dark fur grew of black look skinny run fast
wolf very large dark fur like the coyote . they can all live in the same area. if its a northern or remote area that very possible.
they eat meat all of them but each one eats things animals in keeping with its size.

They vary in size to start with- foxes being the smallest. Wolves and coyotes can cross with domestic dogs, foxes can not.
