I have two dogs that are the same breed. They are actually brothers and one isn't potty trained. When he would do his business on the floor, his brother would eat it. What is the problem with this. I know it isn't normal, so what is wrong?

Dogs rarely or never have their teeth brushed and they don't floss. If humans didn't take care of our teeth they would rot and fall out, right? My dog is 16 and his teeth look pretty good. They're a little yellow and his breath smells, but they're not rotted or antyhing. Do dogs just have stronger or more resistant teeth then us?

I know all breeds are loving but i want to know some of the breeds that are the most loving. My dad says i can get a dog (finally) But I have to explain why i chose the breed of dog i did, he says dogs are a lifetime comitment so i should be able to pick any dog i want. I can get any size or price/breed but a dog like a husky isn't so loving so even thogh it is beautiful i would not choose it. I am compleatly serious because i know this is a lifetime comitment not something like a toy. Please give me serious answers thanx=)

We took him to the vet today and he said he didn't think he had it but he didn't test for it. He has all the signs he's throwing up several times an hour, his poop is either bloody or a yellow liquid, and he's in horrible pain.

The vet gave us meds and told us to make sure to give them to him but he won't keep them down, he throws them up like 5 minutes after taking them. He also gave him a Hyathal shot. Would that make him throw up? Because he wasn't doing that before the shot.

I'm just so worried, he's our baby so we take such good care of him. I just feel so useless watching him suffer like this. What else besides Parvo could it be since the vet had no answers? And could he even get it since he's almost 2 and up to date on all his shots?

2 mnths ago, she got fleas, first i used hartz control, the vet said to wash it off as it could kill my dog. I bought advantage from them. It has slowed them down but today i pulled 3 off her. I know they are still in the house, but how the heck do i get rid of them. does advantage really work or does it just keep them under control without killing them off period. I want them off my dog(sophie) the vet told me that shampoos and dog collars dont work. I dont want to keep soph on advantage forever as i hate chemicals, and this stuff is pumped out by her liver once its absorbed by the skin. Please advise. Sophie is a lhasa/shitzu cross, very cute and scratchy.

My dog is a pit mix and is wonderful inside the house. She is great on walks with her choke collar, but whenever another dog comes around she acts crazy and barks and jerks me around. I am pregnant and due in less than 3 weeks and I cannot continue having these problems. She's great with people and with children, but I cannot have her jerking my child around either. I don't want to get rid of her because I adore her. Any suggestions?

Howling, as opposed to yipping or barking. Long howls. It's an odd question, I know.

they have had parvo vaccinations and been dewormed. flea medications and very healthy. They are from a stray that my husband and I took in. She is great and we had her spayed a few weeks ago because we want to keep her. But I really can't keep any of the puppies (as much as I want to)!
Also, any advice on free ways to advertise would be great!
And please don't send me any hateful remarks about bringing puppies into this world and not wanting them! I took in a stray and have spent a lot of money to get her shots and spayed! I have had my older dog for the past nine years and she is spayed also and has always been vaccinated and well taken care of.
Last time I asked for help with the puppies I got some rude answers and got accused of being careless and cheap.
So, that's why I wanted to clarify things this time!

What's the best feeding/walking schedule for a stubborn 6 month old dog that's recently gone into heat for the first time and gets easily distracted when I take her outside? Whenever I take her out she'll start to squat and then she'll raise back up half a second later and she'll continue this without peeing until she begs to come back inside where she promptly pees in the floor. She's even begun to refuse going on the puppy training pads. So, what's a good schedule?

It has to be small, friendly, needs little grooming which means no $100 checks to the groomer, and also needs little exercise but I can still take it for walks and is ok alone for 2 to 3 hours a few times a month well what kind of dog should I get?
