i don't think cheese is good for them but they'll eat it if its on a piece of meat. Anyway, our chihuaha loves chorizo, meat, or chicken.

Small amounts of most things we eat except for chocolate. Just remember small amounts. If you feed it cheese you really have to be careful and restrict the amount as it can constipate them. Just remember everything in moderation. No chocolate or sugary stuff. No human medicine. But in the end a good moist dog food is the best. It has what they need and not any crap. Fist thing on the ingredient list should be meat. No soy no byproducts. Warning if you feed them chicken make sure to take out the bones. Poultry bones can hurt pets. When the break the are sharp. They can lodge in their throat. SO the chicken suggestion by it self is a bad one if you leave in the bones. OH never feed them a bunch of fat or too much Turkey can cause pancreatitis. Never feed them the fat off of dry cured ham as it is high in sodium. OH this is really in the wrong place it should be in the pet area.

be careful feeding your little chi human food. Dogs shouldn't eat a lot of people food but chi's are small and the extra pounds can add on quickly as well as other problems such as pancreatitis. If you want to give your chi a treat remember a little bit goes a long way. My chi's like carrots, watermelon, small pieces of cheese, small pieces of meat. Do not under any condition feed your dog onions, grapes, raisins, chocolate, caffeine or alchohol. All of these substances are toxic to dogs and can definately kill them.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUMgZ
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I use cheese, turkey, ham, chicken, salmon jerky, beef jerky, smoked salmon, cream cheese, peanut butter - but all in very small amounts. These are training treats, which I use as high-value rewards. I don't make it a regular thing with my dogs to use these as it's 1. unhealthy for them, and 2. will become boring for them if they get these things too regularly.

They really shouldn't eat people food. But a little cheese never bothered my dogs. I use mini carrots for treats.

It is bad for any dogs to eat human food, especially small dogs. I would not recommend ANY food for chihuahua.

Cheese isn't too bad but can constipate an animal. You really shouldn't feed any dog people food. It just isn't good for them and if you love your dog you wouldn't do that. You should be feeding your dog a good nutritional dog food like Nutro. Your vet can recommend what type of Nutro for your breed of dog. Good Luck to you and your dog.
