No bones that have been cooked should be given to dogs. The bones become brittle and can splinter.

If your dog did swallow the bone whole she will need to go to the vet as soon as it open because the bone wont break down in time for it to be passed through the intestines and this could cause internal bleeding and rip the intestines. If she did chew it up good then she will be okay because ribs don't splinter like chicken bones do.

I always let my dog eat the rib bones in the summer when I bbq. He is an Austraillain shepard and has never had an issue!! the only thing is his poop is a little bit lighter the next day.

Not cooked ones, no.
Raw rib bones should only be fed whole with the meat still attached.

You shouldn't give your dog rib bones. They tend to splint and also can get stuck in the dogs throat.

No... rib bones are very likely to splinter and can perforate the intestines.
