Soy el dueno de un perro labrador de aproximadamente 2 anos, pero me preocupa el hecho de que pierda una cantidad inmensa de pelo. Es alguna enfermedad? O que debo hacer para detener lo que esta ocurriendo...

I have five month old Golden, and she uses her teeth for everything! She bites people and she thinks that we're playing with her but we're not. Shes and overall very good dog, except for her biting. Im afraid to have my younger family members over because she might bite them by accident.

me and my dog has had this battle for months now. i had my dog on table food, she got real sick from it. had liver problems. her vet says she is now 90% better. but im having so much trouble getting her to eat dog food. she has lost so much weight and she looks awful. sometimes she will nibble at it, other times she will walk past it 100 times a day and not eat. her energy level is low and i know its cause shes not eating like she wants to. someone please tell me what i can do to get her to eat, what can i try. is there any human foods i can give her with her dog food to help? im really at my wits end and when i look at her i grieve for her. anyone please help?

I was grooming my dog with a new brush I just purchased called the shed-ender and I accidentily tugged on his penis and now there is a little blood in his urine every time he pees. This was on Sunday and now it is Tuesday. Could this have given him a urinary tract infection?

My king charles spaniel was dignosed with heart failour and a bad heart mermor. A week and half ago. She also had a lot of fluid on her and around her lungs she is on medications for this.but she refussed to eat. The vet keeps saying she has to eat she must be hungry I have been false feeding by chopping her meat up really small bits and opening her mouth and puting the food in her mouth just like giving her tablets. What I want to know is this cruel. I just don't know of any other way of feeding her.

I was scolding my dog for digging and when he started to cry and whimper, my sister's dog ran up on him and started growling and tried to mount him. I pushed him away but he just kept coming back, determined to get to my dog... What is up with that?

I haven't owned a dog in about 6 years and this is really strange to me.

I had it on animal planet for my kids today, the "Worlds funniest animals" or whatevr it's called.. and our new dog sat and stared at the tv..finally after about 5 to 6 solid minutes of staring at the TV she jumped up twards the TV and looked behind it and under it.. I guess for whatever animal she saw on tv.

Does this mean she is agressive or hunter instincts?

Maybe i'm just looking to far into this..

BTW she is a Golden Retriever crossed with Corgi

Thanks guys!

For 9 years my dog has always been "my" dog. She has always slept on her bed beside me. Now all of a sudden, she has started sleeping on the floor next to my husband or at the foot of the bed. Why? I've cleaned her bed the same way as before, but she will not get into it. She won't even come to my side of the bed. I'm beginning to take it personally! Do you think it has something to do with when we went on vacation and i put her bed out in the livingroom? (We closed all the doors to the other rooms). And yes she was well taken care of, we had family and friends taking care of her. She is fine everywhere else and she will sit beside me in other rooms. Any thoughts?

My husband & I have been married for almost 2 years & have no children (not for another 7 or 8 years) but we do have a cat. We were interested in getting a dog, & we have been researching Greyhounds for quite some time. I know that they do tend to have the instinct to chase (due to their racing background) but many are cat tolerable. I have a few questions for grey owners: Our cat is 2 years old, 16 lbs and pretty much docile, but at times runs through the house & wants to play. I used to dog sit, & she has been with 2 Jack Russels, an Airedale & a Dachshund on many occasions & pretty much stays away from them. Do you think our cat will be receptive to a greyhound & vice versa? (I would separate them during the day when we're at work just to make sure.) We live in an apt (1145 sq. ft.) & live next door to a high school with a running track. Would this work for exercise if the grey is kept on a leash & is taken out quite a few times a day? Do you think a grey would be right for us?

i have a miniture pinchser he has bumps on his back which i noticed on sunday, they are small bumps and more noticeable from afar. but when i look under his skin on the bump area there are little little tiny red almost like scabs and white flakes which look like dandruff. I also noticed that he is shedding more than usual but that may be because i havent been brushing him lately. so please help me on what it may be.

My parents run a dog rescue and they recently took in a stray who was found.(We named her Lily.) She is absolutely adorable but extremely thin. When she was found, a passerby thought she was dead. We are so grateful we got her when we did. She has gained some weight in the month or so since my Parents took her in, but not very much. She is always throwing up. This is not a problem for my parents, but we just want to find what is wrong with her so we can maje it better for her. My parents have tried everything and the vet - who is incredible - has no clue what could be the problem.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?
She is extremely thin and usually very warm to the touch and usually throws up whenever she is excited or immediately after eating or drinking. She throws up so many times a day, I don't know how she can even manage to gain weight at all.
She has a birth defect where her tongue hangs out to the side most of the time. Could this have anything to do with it?
