If you got your dog from a breeder, they should be able to tell you. Otherwise, have your vet estimate the dog's age and pick a reasonable date.

I'm going to combine the first two answers. If youre asking how old your dog is, then a vet can probably tell you. If youre trying to figure out the exact day/month....go with the date that You got him/her. Have a party! Wear silly hats. Get a dog birthday cake. (skip the candles)

It would probably be easier to make up a birthday for your dog instead of taking it to the vet and spending a lot of money just to ask them when the dog's birthday is!

I have a stray dog and we celebrate the day we found her. Maybe you can do that too. If you don't have a stray and you just don't know the birthday, just makeup a birthday for a dogs. Your dog will be very happy :)

If you don't know the exact date, then you probably won't be able to figure out EXACTLY what date he/she was born. But go to your vet, they can usually tell by their teeth!
