i used Gold Bond Baby Power on my dog. just sprinkle it on and rub his hair back and forth so the powder gets way in. the fleas cant breath the fine power and die. sprinkle the power in his bedding and all around the house and leave it for three days, then vacuum it all up. no more fleas, ever.

It depends on what kind of shampoo you used. If it was a shampoo that can be used with flea medication, then no (it will say if it can be used with flea medication on the bottle somewhere). If it was some other shampoo, then I would call a vet first to see...but my instinct is to say yes. Any other shampoo will wash the flea medication off of your dog. Also, you can try CapStar. Usually, we give the CapStar (a pill) to the animal a day before shampooing them in Dawn and then wait two days to put on the flea medication.

Good luck...fleas are horrible this season!

No you don't have to. the drops travel around your dogs body through his natural body oils. after a couple of days he should be fully covered so you don't need to apply any more for another month.

for the drops you only need to put barely on but the tricky thing is you only have to put it on the base of the tale and head and it flows through the blood stream and works like a charm!

I think there is a certain amount of time before you can bathe them, but I'm not sure. It's not good to give them too much chemicals.

Read the label, you are supposed to use those once per month, you could irritate your dogs skin.

No. Advantage should be water proof after it has dried. If you put more on you risk overdosing your dog.

If you look at the directions you shouldn't have to.
But check with your vet or a groomer.
