and
n-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide
and

Pyrethrins are the best. I have purchased plain Pyrethrin spray and the residual is very long and lasts longer than most on the market, but be careful not to get it in the dogs eyes.

If you really want the fleas off, use Dawn diswashing detergent. Wash your dog two days before putting on the flea medication. If you put on the flea medication too soon, you run the risk of causing chemical burn on your dog's skin. After two days, put on whatever flea and tick medication you use.
Also, if there is a bad flea infestation on your dog, use CapStar the day before you wash the dog in Dawn. Additionally, if you are going to wash your dog in between flea treatments, use a dog shampoo that says "May be used with flea control pills and drops." If you use something else that doesn't say that, it will wash the flea medication off the dog. I use Cardinal's Gold Medal Pets Clean Scent Shampoo, just for you use as a reference point.

I think that your best option for fleas is to take your dog to a groomer and have them dip your dog. While your dog is away you need to treat your home and yard for fleas. Plus your car. Then before you go home put Frontline for fleas on your dog. There is also a pill that you can give you dog for fleas. You have to buy it from a vet. If you give heartworm preventor. I strongly recommend sentinal because it also has a prevenative in it. I dont ever have problems with fleas but start treatment before they become active when it warms up.

it might be a good sampoo for a dog because i think that it would prcet the dog from fleas and more

if it dog shampoo then it all good just don't use the kind you use it will mess there coat up
