Depends on his character, give it some time, cause naming your pet is really important. You could name it butch to be cute, but then maybe its character turns out to be a princess. So don't be in a rush. I personally, love cute names, so get suggestions and think awhile before you make the commitment. Here's some to get you started, Sparky, Sam, Champ.

name it by the way it looks or acts. ei: if it has a spot call it spot or dot. if it scratches alot or isnt very nice call it deobloe (spanish for devil) mexican names are always cool for pets
