Remember the movie, Must Love Dogs? Well, what are my chances of finding a mate when he must love dogs and cats?

have called animal control...nothing...called the police ....nothing....it is a law in our town you must have the dogs secure and carry high dollar insurance on them and i know my neighbor cant afford the insurance for 9 pit bulls. last yr 2 of his dogs killed one of our dogs in front of my wife who is now terrified at the site of one of these dogs.

I have 2 dogs, one is 13 years old and one is 1 1/2 years old. We are moving to a new house which is beautiful and I want them to go outside. Here they pretty much go inside and I keep cleaning it up! How can I train them to go outside when they are older dogs? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

These are the ones we have in mind: yellow lab., Boxer, Gordan Setter, Banter bulldog, Belgian shepard Malinios, Great Pyrenese, Norwegian Elkhound.

In our family there are 2 kids, one 12 one 10.
We aslo have a 1 year old bull boxer (American staffordshire terrier and Boxer mix)

When I came home he was bleeding and having difficulty breathing. Very sick! I live in New South Wales, Australia, and I have been checking on the internet and find there is a Brown Dog Tick that causes some symptoms that are the same, he is in a yard and been supervised at all times, he has been in areas that is frequented by other dogs but supervised at all times. How could he have contacted this. If so I don't know how he has contacted this.

sometimes i leave my dog outside (when it sin't too hot)
but when ever i go get him he will be all hyper and unconrtollabel.
he will jump on me and act like i have never trained him.
also if i try to control him by using cesar millans tequnique ("biting with hand") he will bite me with his mouth!! he never has made me bleed but i'm afraid one day he will. what is the correct thing to do when ever i go outside to him and he is tied up?
also what should i do when he steps on me? i think he sometiimes steps on me just to show he is more dominant then me and i understand that but how do i correct him?

Is it ok to bath him hes about 12 years old , also how soon after aplying front line to kill fleas should i wait to bath him. personal i would not want to bath him as he is a house dog , but my girlfriend thinks he should be bathed every 4 weeks ... what do you

Ever since Comet was a pup, he had to have his food made a special way. Then as he grows up, it's no dog good... it's human food. We tried to stop giving Comet human food so he can get hungry and eat his dog food, but it doesn't work. He just won't eat at all and starve. It's like he's saying, "I would rather starve than eat that stuff in that bowl." My friend suggested that I crush Comet's treats and mix them in his food so he would eat. That works but I just wish Comet will eat his food when I pour it in his bowl. Any suggestions besides the crush his treats and mix it in his food one?

Does anyone have any advice on how we can get our puppy to stop digging in our yard? We do not have her outside for extended periods of time so we do not think that is a factor. We have tried spray from pet stores made to deter digging and home remedies which have not seemed to work in anyway. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I really want a dog especially after I heard that some shelters have to put animals to sleep if there are too many animals. I have 3 fish but one is missing an eye (long story). The only way I can get a dog if me and my brother get straght a's for 3 years. I'll be a geek till I'm in Highschool ( I'm getting braces in January and I already have glasses and im a teensy bit obese) well I get a rabbit if I get straight a's for 1 year.

My dog is 1 yr old, and today my vet. found out that his back knees and joints are badly formed, and his hip-bone is just abnormal. The vet. said is quite serious and a surgery is a must.
However my dog is running fine and i dont see him in pain when he run around the house.
My vet. send my dog to see some specialist to find out more.

I just want to find out is there any side-effects after the back-knees surgery and how's yur dog's recovery?
I am so worry now, pls share yur experience.
