My dog, Summer (a big black Lab/Shepherd cross), learned to climb a ladder which was leaning on an apple tree. She loved apples, and would climb the ladder, into the tree, and pick her own treats!

When we moved the ladder, she eventually learned to jump up and grab a branch, shake it and the apples would fall for her and our other dogs.

She also watched my parents as they picked ripe fruit - she then went around and ate all the fresh strawberries, blueberries, rosehips, dandylion heads (yellow, not the seeds), etc. We lived on a hobby farm/orchard, so she was never without goodies, lol.

Our other dog, Winter (black Newfie/Great Pyrnese mix), would take things to you. As an example, you could give her a business card, and tell her to take it to someone (anyone there). She'd walk over and hand the business card to that person. She was great like that - loved to be the center of attention!

Sit, Stay, Shake, Lay down and Heel- but more Importantly she can hear a fridge door opening up a mile away. Her best trick though is her ability to think treat and get any local humans to immediately get her one- oops gotta go she is currently craving a snausage and I've been selected to go get her one. lol

Swim. We have an above ground pool and when were in the pool "Socks" runs and jumps on the side and pulls himself into the pool to swim with us. I'd love to video tape him doing this for AFV, I think it would win.
