Great Danes are not cheap, as they are very expensive to maintain and breed..if you are searching for a certain color, it will be MUCH more diffecult to find the dog you want..
However, many nice Danes are in rescues..so a search for Great Dane rescue in your state...or check out www.petfinder.com

You get what you pay for. Backyard breeders have the cheapest of the danes, but not really. The parents usually are not taken care of and so the pups are not that healthy. This will cost you in the long run.
Really good Dane breeders will sell their pet quality pups at about the same price as a backyard breeder. The only problem with them is usually they are not the right color or markings to show.

Very large and very small dogs are more likely to suffer from genetic defects. Ethical breeders euthanize defective puppies or make sure that they themselves can not breed. Cheap "pure breed" dogs can be very expensive in the long run. You would do better going to the SPCA and finding a Great Dane mix that needs rescuing.

If you find a cheap blue great dane it is probably not going to be well bread and may have health problems. They are fairly rare and all great danes have expensive up-keep.

There is nothing cheap about a Dane, but look into your local Great Dane Rescue....

If you want a cheap dog, go to the pound and adopt a homeless dog or look up great dane rescue organizations in your area using http://www.petfinder.com.
But if you need a cheap dog because you can't afford to pay much, be forewarned: DOG OWNERSHIP IS VERY EXPENSIVE. There's no way to get around that. It just is.

Check the newspapers
local pound
talk to pet store owners
and make a flier that says you want a great dane pup put your name on the bottom and stick it in your local pet store window or anywere else tat pet owners in your area go

I dunno about pups, but you can always find great danes at pet shelters. Those and dalmations. People do not realize that they need so much attention. Ours in my town gets atleast 2 a month. Last time I went in they had 5. And that is just sad cause most people won't get them just because they are big, but most great danes are just big babies.
