Hi, I just started babysitting the neighbors springer spaniel and he's been sleeping over. I bought these pig skin bones and he loves them at night .. takes 45 minutes before he eats it because we play with it. Are these safe to give daily? Please let me know if there is something that can be given daily that takes a long time for the doggie to consume.

I have a saint bernard and i have since met alot of families who would really like one of their own.in general because they have smaller children and saint bernards are really wonderful with small children.i know mine is.anyhow.my question is....should i breed her and donate the puppies to these families who would really appreciate the addition.i live on a military base and good things come few and far between.

anyone who has a "wannabe protester" attitude on dog breeding please don't answer this.i won't take ur advice at all and i probably won't even look at it.and u definetly won't get 10 pts.

My first time mother chihuahua had 2 puppies last night. The smallest puppy is haveing trouble getting on the nipple. Shes sucked on it a few times but looses hold and has trouble finding it again. Im worried shes not getting enough milk. I bought some newborn puppy formula and a extra small bottle but im worried if i use that to feed her she wont try to nurse from the mommy anymore. Should i use the bottle anyway? Or just give her a day or two longer then try to bottle if shes still not getting enough?

I'm looking to buy a peek-a-poo dog. But Im wondering if they are friendly with cats, and want to find out the GOOD and BAD thing about them.

Are they easy to teach? Do they bark too much? Are they well-behaved, meaning if I leave them, they are not going to trash my apart.... right? What other things do I need to found out. Its my first small dog since I now live in an apartment.

WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF DOGS (PREFERABLY SMALL UP TOO 15LBS, AND HAIRY) ARE GOOD WITH CATS AND GREAT APARTMENT DOGS?

Any help would be appreciated.

Will they feel the need to still have sex or will they not try anymore. I thought the female would not come in heat anymore afterwards & the male will have no testicles.

There are three of these dogs around, clear pack and herding behaviour, very vocal. They resemble German Shepherds in colouring, but have softer, slightly longer fur and don't have the slope down towards the tail that you see in shepherds. I'd estimate 60 lbs, smaller than a shepherd, but definitely a working dog. We know they are purebreds but don't know what kind! Any suggestions appreciated.

I already have a 2 yr old Shepard-greyhound mix (i believe-adopted). She's a medium sized dog, so I'm looking for small-medium size dog as a playmate. I don't have much room- I live in a two bedroom apratment, which is big for being an apartment. I'm having trouble deciding, my dog is friendly, playful, and always looking for something to get into, which is why I need a dog that will help keep both of them involved.

My puppy is 7 months and he has fleas. He is currently on Advantix, but I still find fleas on him but alot less than before. I usually see maybe 1 or 3, but he still scratches alot. I'm assuming he hasn't fully healed from the older flea bites. Is there something that actually repels fleas?? And any advice on ridding them completely. I live out in a country area in Texas so fleas is a problem.
Any suggestions would be great..Thank you!
