I'm looking to buy a peek-a-poo dog. But Im wondering if they are friendly with cats, and want to find out the GOOD and BAD thing about them.

Are they easy to teach? Do they bark too much? Are they well-behaved, meaning if I leave them, they are not going to trash my apart.... right? What other things do I need to found out. Its my first small dog since I now live in an apartment.

WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF DOGS (PREFERABLY SMALL UP TOO 15LBS, AND HAIRY) ARE GOOD WITH CATS AND GREAT APARTMENT DOGS?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, we had a peekapoo that loved her cat. she loved the Guinea pig too, but played too rough with it and it died....Broke Floppsy's heart.... She just layed next to it, and couldn't believe she had harmed her friend.

Any dog can be either good or bad with cats. There is no breed that is certain to be a good match for a cat, because all dogs are different, even 2 dogs from the same litter can be very different. Try to find a dog/pup that is raised around cats and then you should have no problem.

Maybe a pom, a long haired chi, a peek-a-poo as you mentioned.

I had a cockapoo when I was little that was VERY good with my cat. Can't imagine the "peek" part being any worse with a cat than the cocker part of mine. :) My doggie though was pretty dumb. Luckily he was an outdoorsy kinda dog, and he didnt need alot of training...so no clue on that part. But they are the right size for an apartment.

Kitty Rocha! The delicacy of all dogs. Your dogs is in ordinary words one in a line of one million dogs which could gladly snack out of your kitty container. it really is repulsive, and not in any respect reliable for them tho. You did not say what length dogs, yet when available, post somewhat one gate to the room housing the muddle container. go away a smal section on the bottom so the kitty can crawl less than, although the dogs can not get by using. it quite is the finest. you may should make certain the dogs can not get to the muddle, no count number number the way you accomplish it although. by using how, cat nutrition isn't reliable on your dogs, so make certain kitty eats the position the dogs can not attain the nutrition.

any dog will be friendly if raised as a pup with the cat.......any dog is easy if the owner is persistent in training......a pet learns what you teach and does what you allow......crate train the dog.......be on a schedule with his/her potty times.....

just don't get a jack russell terrier. they're 15 lbs and under, but they bark, bounce off the walls, and would kill your cat.
