I got two puppies a week ago and they got a bunch of shots and one pooped out dead white worms for a day and a half and the other had none and then today (about a week later) we find a small piece of poop with about 8 short white and pink worms in it. does any one know what these are? how my dogs got them after they seemed to have gotten rid of the worms? and how to get rid of them?? one more question. can a puppy take the shots for worms more than once in two weeks? or do they have to wait two weeks? all ur answers are very much appreciated....

As a shelter volunteer who has seen too many people get animals at the spurr of the moment and them dump them when they're too much work for them, I cannot stress this enough. Pets are for life, so serious consideration must be taken. Make sure you have enough time in your day to spend training, socializating. If the the pet is sick, bring it right to the vet, don't bother logging onto Yahoo!Answers.

i am terrified. he is crying very badly right now. i don't know what to do. his vet said to wrap him up in a towel and make him go to sleep but he is in too much pain. i really need help. Whoever asnswers me i really appreciate it. thank you for listening to my sad story.

My Shihtzus go crazy when they find deer poop. It's like a chocolate cake to them. I had the 5 week old shihzu puppies out in the yard today and they found the deer poop also and ate it! What gives?
