Dogs lick faces as a way of trying to assert dominance. They lick floors and places that smell like their "masters" as a bonding tool.

Licking the faces of larger-score %. individuals is a fashion of soliciting for nutrition, so this habit is problematical-stressed into canines. it really is a delightful acknowledgement of your %. status as well as a way to ascertain what you've been eating. they'd be hungry and hoping for a meal or a manage! Licking your fingers is likewise a request for petting through canines who pick your fingers to do some thing tremendous for them.

i know this sounds common, but a dogs lick is like a kiss... kindof... it shows that the dog appreciates u and enjoys your company. it wouldnt lick an enemy, now would it? (if it knew it was an enemy i mean). it also shows how affectionate the dog is. some dogs love everyone, and some dogs u have to earn their affection. hope this helps :D
