it always takes a short time to heal but just focus on the good things and keep your dog busy walking, playing, etc. so his focus is not on THAT. once it's healed he won't even care. just love your pets and treat them well and they will do the same in return:)

Repeat after me: My dog is not a human being, he doesn't care about being neutered.

I've had three male dogs, all neutered (because I am a responsible pet owner) and none of them have ever given a flying fig about being neutered. In fact, I think if they could, they'd say "Hey, thanks for making sure that I don't spend my entire life trying to get laid instead of sleeping and playing with you, which is much more fun!"

Say WHAT??? Dogs don't f-ing KNOW & sure don't CARE!! They CAN'T! NO"TRAUMA" in a 1/2 cut! sheeeeesh....
All you need to do is check the incision site a couple of times to make sure no infection. Then ...leave him alone.

be there and spoil that little boy but mostly let him sleep. he will be groggy and wont feel a thing as he wakes up from a nice long nap
