Last time we went on a walk it slipped off and could have been a potentially bad situation since we have a pit bull in the neighborhood that hates all other dogs. How tight should it be?

I ask my dog to move out of a narrow walk way, or go outside when I leave for work and he growls and bares his teeth. My father told me to piss on him. Is he right? Will this help?

My 4 month old beagle is changing colors. When I got her two months ago she had tan paws and a basically tan face. Now, the tan color is spreading over the top of her head and down her back. Is that normal?

She's thirteen years old, and we've had her since I was seven. She's really my sister's baby, but she's stuck at work so I'm on deathbed vigil. I keep hoping she'll recover, but her back leg's paralayzed I think, she can't walk, can't breathe very well. I hate watching her like this- has anybody else been through this?

Many folks get on here and describe some really serious sounding health issues with their pets. Do those of you who have done this end up taking your pet to your veterinarian? I can't help but wonder about some folks!

A few months ago my 3year old golden/husky mix had a really bad ear problem. On the outside of her ear and around her eyes she was losing hair and her skin was red with tiny bumps where she lost the hair. Well i sprayed peroxide mixed with water on the infected area and it slowly went away. Now she has the same thing on her lower belly near her rear and on her inner thigh. Does anyone know what this may be ? I am open for any suggestions. Thank you for any help.
