I didn't know there was such a breed. I've heard of minatures but not teacup schnauzers.

As far as I know, there are only standard and miniature schnauzers. I don't understand this deal with wanting to make all the breeds "teacup" and "tiny". If you are looking for a miniature schnauzer, check for local breeders. Then ask for veterinary and customer references. Schnauzers are great dogs, you are making a good choice.
*I would really think twice about going to any breeder that breeds hybrid or "trendy sized" breeds like the link above. You really should stick to good bloodlines that follow the standard of the breed.

i comprehend a woman who's lively in Miniature Schnauzer rescue. She is an eternal foster to a male "teacup Schnauzer". This unfavourable dogs had lived all of his 2 years interior a crate,in straight forward words being taken out to reproduce.aspect became, they did not comprehend he became sterile, until eventually a dozen or so breeding tries. So, they purely left the unfavourable fella in his crate, until eventually the position were given raided and he became given a extra efficient existence. he's as small as a Yorkie and purely shakes each of the time.unfavourable aspect has a genetic neurological situation. he's a really sweet boy, inspite of being neglected his first 2 years. i extremely dislike the finished Pocket domestic dog type and do not see it slowing down. A dogs isn't meant to be a way accent to gown up and carry in a handbag!

There is no such thing as a tea cup Schnauzer, or a tea cup poodle, or tea cup Pom or Chihuahua! A breeder may have in bred over and over and over to get a puppy smaller and smaller. Beware of ANY breeder that advertises tea cup anything! Most are very unhealthy, sick all of their lives and live very short sad lives. Run don't walk to a REAL breeder and get a Schnauzer that is healthy. As long as people keep paying these ridiculous prices for sick puppies, puppy mills will continue to thrive.

Check out petfinder.com, and if you can't find anything there, look for rescue groups. Do NOT go to pet stores- most of them get their dogs from puppy mills, and they are usually sick and undersocialized. Plus you will be paying WAY too much money.
Find a reputable breeder that will allow you to see the pup's mom, and where they live, and also make sure the breeder is very knowledgable and confident in their dogs. you want to deal with someone who breeds for the love of the dog- not for the money.
