I assume you mean housebreak, since I doubt you'll be able to get him to use the toilet.

Take him outside frequently (he can "hold it" for one hour per month of his age until he's a year old) and praise him when he potties out there. When he messes in the house on his newspaper or potty pad, take the mess outside, with the dog, and put the mess where you want him to go. Make sure you clean up all the mess so he doesn't have the smell there to attract him back. DO NOT RUB HIS NOSE IN HIS MESS!! That is the equivalent of potty training a two year old by rubbing a dirty diaper on his face. All that will teach him is that you are mean and he should fear you.

If he's a little puppy, you're going to have to get up during the night to let him out for awhile.

Stay with him while in the house. Go for walks often. Reward him when he goes were you want him to relieve himself. Learn to watch for his signs of wanting to relieve himself and when you see the signs put him in the area you want him to pottie.

you wanna buy a pee pad and when he's about to take a leak take hime too the pee pad he will get use to it
