It usually means the dog has a fever or not feeling well. If he starts to act sick, take him to the vet.

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isnt. It all depends on the temperature outside, and the room in which your dog is in. If you have a little hyper dog, or a big hairy dog they get overheated fast. In any case, just give your dog some water and wait it out for a few days at the most as long as nothing else seems to be wrong with your dog. If it remains warm, see about shaving your dog for the summer heat. If that doesnt work, ask your vet.

Not really/ Not always... warm nose is not a bad sign some dogs have warm noses.. if your dog has a dry nose and wasn't sleeping when you checked it's bad... because dog's nose is dry when it sleeps... Good luck with your doggy

When my dog sleeps or lays down for awhile his nose gets warm. One time he had the doggie flu and it was really warm even when he wasn't sleeping. Watch him and see how he does. From now on though, make a point to touch his nose to get a general feel for what is his normal temp.

Not necessarily. If it's warm outside, his body temp might be a litter higher. A dogs normal temp is about 1 01. If you see no other signs of illness, just get him into a cool spot and give him some water and see what happens.

Not always. They do get warm and dry even when the dog is healthy. Now, if it STAYS that way or other symptoms show up take the dog to a vet.

thought you'd like to know that a dogs normal temperature is about 101.5 f. Your normal temp is 98.6f........don't you think its ok for you dogs nose to feel a little warmer then your finger or hand that touched it?? you could take a rectal temp on your dog. If its greater then the temp i gave you then you dog could be sick.. good luck

Not necessarily, he may just be warm. Keep and eye on him for any other signs that he may not be feeling well, though.
