A dear friend reached the age of 19 when he passed on. His name was Peabody. This dog was a sparkling dog in every way. He touched many lives, including my best friend, Mike. He was known to do human acts. He was known to give attention that felt like hugs. He was a very unique companion. Truly loved and cared for. Please keep Peabody in your thoughts and prayers, as he was and will be truly missed. Thank you genuinely.

My wife and I own a one-year-old black chihauhau. But everytime I work out or my wife is doing her chores, Castor is always there--licking either one of us silly!

I feel like a human lollypop! lol

Is this normal behavior for these little chaotic bundles of energy?

Well, i'm just curious about the walking and playing outdoor with my pomeranian, Honeycomb. She's 4 months old now and first took her outside when she was about 3 and a half months old, she seem pretty fine (with collar and leash on her neck, otherwise she'll b running around like a mad crazy little dog! seriously! she was sooo crazy!). I took her out 3 times a week..and walk and run with her for about 20 mins. The 3rd day that she went out we pause at the grocery store, came out and found out that she'd vomitted. Well, the Vet said it was because she's still a puppy and i should give her more time..so put a pause on the outdoor session. I'm curious..when is the right time and right age for my pomeranian to go walking with me. I dont want her to panic when she sees load of cars driving and barking madly at the passerby. U kno what i mean? and this is sooo naive of me but what should i bring when i about to walk my Pomeranian? Thanks in advance. muah xXx

I use a red bowl that has two actually is 2 square bowls side to side. It is actually a cat bowl, so i just use that because cat is gone now. Also, is there anything wrong with giving water to doggies all the time and at meal times, or is it just the kibbles or can food? <- Besides the fact that the doggie might pee a lot..
Ok.

He will not obey me, but when my son is around he does everything he tells him to do. Its like my son is the great master and what I have to say I might as well keep to myself.
If I let the dog out of the house or garage, he takes off and refuses my commands to sit. He heads down the street and gets into everything. I cannot put a lead on him because he is totally out of control.
Is it my imagination that this dog will not mind me? Someone told me its because my son is dominant over him and he only answers to 1 master. Any suggestions. The dog is 2 !/2 yrs old.

My 2.5 year old female short-haired St. Bernard has been shedding a lot of hair. I recently bought one of those fancy "rake" combs that takes the undercoat off. A massive amount of hair came out, and what looked like to be dandruff. She's been eating normally, behaving normally, eating and drinking normally. Her hair though is coarse and not as shiny.

New aspects of her life....we've all been sleeping in the basement because it is a lot cooler down her, a new cat came into the picture in which they sleep together. She's eating IAMS large breen low active food. She also switched from Frontline to k-9 Advantix this flea season, and is using the same Heartguard heartworm medication.

Any suggestions, help, or what it could be. Is this normal? I appreciate everyone's thoughts and feelings. I have answered many questions, and have gotten many excellent answers. I do appreciate all of you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Puppy is drinking but not eating. Seems to have gone deaf. Is there an illness she could have gotten that caused her to go deaf? Two days ago, she was running around and playful. Now she is staying to herself. She was born March 24, 2006 in a litter of 8. The other puppies I have left from the litter and mother are doing okay so far.
