Many hairless Cresteds can have a little sparse hair. If she is a powderpuff and has a regular coat you can buzz her down, but she will not be hairless.

For the little bit of trimming a hairless needs, one of those little Peanut trimmers work very well, many of the dog supply catalogs carry them. If it is a PP, then you will need a better trimmer than that as it will be getting alot more use.

I would NOT use a razor!

Dogtrainer - the hairless usually at least need their faces buzzed. You don't have to, but it is nice to have them look like they should. Some hairless are hairier than others.

If she has body hair, she is a "Powderpuff" CC, and is not supposed to be shaved. The hairless ones come that way. I would talk to a groomer about whether it is advisable to shave her, the Powderpuffs usually have fewer skin problems because they have hair.
