Never put drops in your pet's eye unless they are prescribed by your vet! You need to take your dog to the vet, and have the vet check the dog for a corneal ulcer, or conjunctivitis. Then your vet can prescribe the proper medication.
GO TOMORROW, eye stuff can get nasty quick. And most of it is very easily, and inexpensively treated if caught early.

Go to the vet..I had a cocker once that had that and what happens is that extra skin developes from the inner eyelid. It can actually attach to the cornea. It can happen in humans too. I've seen it, I'm in the optometry field. Go to the vet, It usually takes a minor surgery.

Vet tech- take your dog to a Vet he either has allergies, dry eye, conjunctivitis, an ulcer on his eye, or worse a small growth ouch! Many times the eye can be quite painful!

Sounds like conjunctivitus to me, allergies have been really bad this season though, at least in my area (houston), might want to hold a light up to the eye and see if you notice an ulcer, if you think you see anything, take it to your vet and theyll probably stain it just to make sure, hopefully its either allergies or conjuctivitus, theyre both easy cures. Id def. recommend taking him in though. Good luck.

Get him to the vet so the vet can determine exactly what is wrong before more serious complications set in, or even blindness.
