I have an Italian Greyhound and she is the sweetest dog in the whole world! She used to be house trained, but now that I've moved into this new house, she goes all the time in the bathroom. That's the only place she'll go. I've been there for 7 months, now, and I can't get her to stop.

I'm getting a male beagle puppy in three weeks. I need a name, something different than the every day name. No Fido or Spot or Spike or anything like that.

We are moving and can't keep him. I found a home for him, but they brought him back 2 hours later because he cried and was miserable. Would he be homesick forever? I don't want him to suffer.

I want to get an electic fence to contain our dog rather than having her hit by a passing car. I cannot get a wooden fence. Please don't tell me how cruel this method is. I understand the pros and cons. Are they terribly hard to do? Do the stapled ones stay and keep from breaking the 18 gauge wire? Thank you for your sugggestions and help.

We had this dog for 3 weeks now. We took him to the vet and he's heathy and well behaved.
The people who owned him before, claim he's 70%wolf and 30%malamute which I doubt because he is a bit small for coming from 2 big size dogs. He looks like a husky with wolf coat fur. I have no doubt he has wolf in him but now I'm beginning to think he has more wolf than I thought before because he attacked a possum in our backyard last night. Is this a dog thing or wolf nature? My suspicions ask why other animals growl at him and hiss alot. For all I know he could be illegal to have.
Even though the possum was ok and later walked away, I really thought it was dead and that really freaked me out!
My concern is, our cat! This dog has been around cats before and he played fine with them. But here, he chases ours. It makes me wonder if once he catches the cat, what then will he do? Will he hurt him? Do dogs understand that a cat is a cat and is just like any other cat they played with before?

3 years ago i had to put my loving dog KAHLUA that i had for 17 years to sleep. while this may sound silly to those that dont like dogs or any animals. it was one of the hardest things i have ever done and i have seen plenty of death including war!!! my father died about a 3 years before and this hit me alot harder than his death did. i quess i feel quilty for having to basically kill one of the best friends i have ever had. any body else out there know what i mean?????????
