My kitten is 7 months old and this is the first kitten I've ever owned. Anyway, this little guy is the most playful, active, and curious ball of fur that I've ever seen - from playing chase with me, to drinking water out of the sink and the shower, to jumping inside of the cabinet and up inside the cabinet drawers (just like a magic trick) that he never ceases to amaze me. Anyway, I'd like to hear some of the funny things that you're kitten or cat does. Thanks!

My kitty was adopted by us and we're pretty sure she's 11 or 12 years old. She is stick-skinny, can't groom herself anymore and poops and pees on the floor. She hasn't had a solid bowel movement since we moved in May. She doesn't act any different and she's eating well. Does this sound like typical old age for a cat? We are planning on taking her to the vet. Your thoughts, cat-lovers with experience?

Both of my two kittens have access inside and outside at most times during the day, however at night I usually leave them outside as we have a one bedroom house and they are too hyper.

Lately we have been having hedgehogs hanging round eating their food. They not only drink the kittens special milk but they drink the water and eat the wet and dry food. My kittens are not phased by them and happily eat next to them. I am scared they may infect my kittens. Should I feed my kittens indoors at a set time? They currently have access to food/liquid all the time outside.

We also have a stray cat hanging around. I've never heard my kittens fight with it, and they happily roam outside when its around. What should I do with this cat? I am unable to catch it but it likes to hang around. I wouldn't mind feeding it if it was more friendly. What are the chances of the sex of the stray cat? I have a male and female kitten who are from different litters.

Our baby is 41/2mths old now. We've had him for a month now. For so long I've been debating wether or not I can handle having a cat with 3 very lazy teenage children and an even lazier husband. But I don't know if I'm lucky or what the kitten has brought so much joy to our life. He's for sure the nicest, cutest most lovable kitty in the whole world. He lets us do what ever we want with him, hold him, kiss him,hug him, bush him etc.. and dosen't say a thing and just waits patiently till we're done as not to offend us. He'll sleep in my lap or lets me rock him to sleep. All of us are so crazy about him, we even cancelled our small family vacation(too cold anyway) so we don't leave him alone.
On to my question: We've been trying to train him to do a few tricks like to bring the ball back to our hand or come when he is called. We're even trying to give him treats but he doesn't seem to be able to connect the two together. Any advice on how we should accomplish this

he's never "gone" outside of the litter box but today he's had diarrhea whenever he gets excited (while I was giving his sister a bath, before he got one. and when i got home this evening) and just lets it go wherever he is at the time. I've also noticed his third eyelid is not "opening" all the way when his eyes are open. He is an indoor cat and the only new thing he's been exposed to is a new brand of cat litter. His mood is normal, he has high energy and seems fine otherwise. Also, he has a history of hacking, but dry hacks (no hairballs). His sister also is an indoor cat in my house and she is fine.

Any chemical I can lay down? I don't want to kill it, my husband says we should call animal control to have to removed (since it wanders around freely without a collar), but I'm afraid they'll euthanize it. It rips open trash bags, gets in our trash cans, it rips open the bags for when I rake up leaves. It's awful!

All his hair was gone from around his neck due to severe ear mites and he was just about to be put down. Out of all the adorable kittens I just couldn't leave poor little ugly Willie there. He looked so alone. Does anyone else have kitty pics to share? I just love kitty pics!

My cat has been licking bald spots in her fur and meowing aloooot more, and there deeper meows.. She used to be an outside cat but since the neighbors got kinda mad, we kept her inside, but that was about 2-3 months ago. I think she might have fleas but I tried looking and found none. I'd take her to the vet but were low on cash. And suggestions?

I have 2 male cats, 1 I have had since 2nd grade ( a maine coon) and 1 (a black cat) we've had since last year in May. Sometimes stray cats come into our yard and 1 time I was in my backyard playing with my black cat (the one I think is gay) and a female cat came along and he hissed at her. Don't know why because he's a wild and playful cat, and he's usually a nice cat. Whenever he sees my older cat, he chases him around the house and sometimes it looks like he's trying to bite his tail or something. Every chance he gets he tries to catch my older cat. Are those signs that show he's gay or is he just trying to play with him?
