My cat ate tensel off of our christmas tree, and yesterday he started puking it up. Well thats how we found out he was eating it. This morning when i picked him up therte was blood everywhere through our house and he was bleeding to. Please help me my mom says the tensel could have torn him up inside. He meows when you pick him up but hes still fairly normal like he always is. When he started puking yesterday we took his food away and that was around 1:00 p.m. i 'm scared to give him food thinking that may make it worse. i've had him since he was a kitten and hes around 9-10 months old. Were taking him to the vet tomorrow because there not open today and theres no one to call. please help me and my cat.

I bought Jasmine 3 1/2 weeks ago and she started sneezing badly on the 700 mile trip back home. I took her to our Vet as soon as we got home, she was given a shot, Clavamox pills, and medicine to put on her skin for ringworm. She also had fleas so he had me put her on Revolution. I took her back 5 days later as she wasn't getting any better, they gave me Bayquil pills and gave her a different shot called Tylan. I then took her back for a recheck 4 days later and was given more Clavamox. Medicine is done and she is still sneezing bloody mucus and the ringworm seems to not be going away either? Does anyone have any suggestions for me, I don't know what else to do.

What does your cat's expression look like right now? Body language? If your cat could talk, what would it say right now?

I live in a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 other people and we have an adorable tuxedo cat. My problem is that he's incredibly aggressive. Not in a territorial or "danger" sense, but in a "you're playing WAYYY too rough" sense, and he'll bite and claw for play, and not realize he's doing it way too hard and make us bleed. I've tried spraying him with water, bopping him on the nose, and putting him in the closet when he does it as punishment, but it just doesn't stick. I've built a 3 level "cat condo" for him to expel energy on, and he does and loves it, but he STILL bites and claws.

I'm worried because if this keeps up, I'm going to have to give him up. What can I do to make this behavior STOP?

He's had his shots and is fixed.

I answered an ad on Craig's List from a couple pleading for a 'catsitter' for 6 weeks while they were to be out of the country. 4 weeks ago they dropped 'Kitty' off. She spent the better part of a day & a half under the bed and after 4 days she was walking around like she owned the joint. The reason for my question is: Kitty is really, almost aggressivley affectionate. She hits the top of her head really hard into our legs or whatever she can, purrs loudly, and rubs herself up against us. We pet her, and talk to her and she seems to LOVE it...until out of the blue she snaps. I am talking she turns into a grizzly bear! She gets up on her hind legs and swats, hisses, and bites! I am to the point I am afraid to pet her, but it seems to make her sad when I don't...Two weeks can prove to be a long time for all of us if we must merely co-exist. Help?

Okay, our newly adopted completely adorable male kitten named "Belieze" was from a litter of four.
His Mamma had her kittens under our porch~escaped a rather neglectful owner down the street who never took good care of his pets ....
Anyway it was Labor Day when she delivered her kittens, and we gladly took care of all of them for a few months.
As they finally were weaned, getting bigger and the weather of course suddenly became cooler outside, it was the perfect time to adopt all the kittens and the Mother out to good homes they all deserved.
The weather was getting cold, so we placed all the babies on a cozy blanket in the tub in the bathroom and put the Mother in the the bathroom as well [we live in a small apt. along w/our pet cat]
To make a long story short, in about a little over a week, FINALLY [and carefully] found all good loving homes for all the cats, and we adopted one ourselves!! :--)

ANYWAY, our "little boy", Belieze was sleeping in the bathtub today I discovered

I am VERY depressed about spending Christmas alone, and my best friend who lives in Texas has invited me, and I REALLY want to go, but I'm afraid of leaving my 11yr. old cat alone. I've heard it's not a good thing to leave older cats in kennels. What should I do?

The day after thanksgiving a cat was hanging around our house. Every time we would open the door the cat would run in. We fed it some turkey. We were worried that the cat belonged to someone so I told my boyfriend that we would let her out and if she hung around or came back soon that we could keep it. Well the cat came back yesterday, one week from the last time it was here. It eats if we give it food, but it doesn't seem that interested in the food. The cat seems kind of skinny, but I'm not sure I don't know a lot about cats. It slept in our bed last night. Whenever I let her out she'll run around in the front yard but then be waiting at the door ten minutes later. I'm so worried that we are stealing someone's cat. How can I tell? I don't really want to put up "Found: cat" signs. What should I do? Can we keep it?

He is an indoor cat and we play with him for hours at a time and he is running all around the house chasing a toy mouse thing on a string and i am worried he will get dehydrated. We have tried to syringe water down him which he takes but i don't want to do this and i don't want him to fear drinking water. Does anyone know what i can do to encourage him? I change his water bowl twice a day so he always has fresh water.

Obviously food, water, proper bedding, catnip toys. I want her to be mentally stimulated and satisfied 100% She's under 1 human year I think and she was a street kitty. Super friendly but she's still independent at times and I've got all these things for her but she meows all friggin night some times. I tried letting her out today and she sniffed around for like 2 seconds, heard a noise then bolted back inside.
