bring your cat to your current vet or bring them to a new one who is more competent. all vets are not created equal. a diet change is in order it seems. grain free, human grade, meatbased canned or raw food diet would be the best thing to do

You called the vet? You should take him to get looked at so they can know exactly what it is. Maybe kitty pink eye. The eye drops take time. Hes prob sad cause hes in pain or he knows there is something wrong with his eye. Cats tend to get very embarassed about flaws in their appearance. He could just be sad about that. Kinda like when you shave a cat and they hide out after. Its cause they are embarassed. There is no over the counter medicine that can help that. He really needs to be looked at.

It doesn't help to simply call the vet so they can send you drops, they need to see the animal to make a proper diagnosis of the situation. If you cant get to the vet; get the vet to come to you - sure it would be much more expensive but you'd have a better plan of action and more peace of mind regarding the situation. NEED TO SEE THE VET.

i think myself the whole "see a vet thing" is overated!!!! Most vets I've been to have supreme cases of dollaritis. They want to milk every dollar they can out of you . And then the whole guilt trip thing when people "aren't going to the vet" thats BS. I think give it some time and hell proably be fine you have already contacted the vet gotten meds. People dont go to the Dr for every little ailment. And to all those other self rightous people who try to make others feel guilty regarding "not takeing their pet to the vet"...well let them fund their vets new car...knock yourself out!!!!

So why haven't you simply picked up the telephone and ASKED THESE QUESTIONS OF YOUR VET?! Not unqualified strangers on the internet who have never seen your cat, let alone examined him! ASK YOUR VET!!! How hard is that?!

first, bring your kitty to the vet's office. not only does the poor kitty have an eye problem or injury, his behavior has changed. PLEASE BRING HIM TO THE VET
