I have 2 male cats, 1 I have had since 2nd grade ( a maine coon) and 1 (a black cat) we've had since last year in May. Sometimes stray cats come into our yard and 1 time I was in my backyard playing with my black cat (the one I think is gay) and a female cat came along and he hissed at her. Don't know why because he's a wild and playful cat, and he's usually a nice cat. Whenever he sees my older cat, he chases him around the house and sometimes it looks like he's trying to bite his tail or something. Every chance he gets he tries to catch my older cat. Are those signs that show he's gay or is he just trying to play with him?

I don't think cats can be gay. Maybe he hissed at the female cat because she was a strange cat.

we have 2 cats... they lounge around on each other and lick each other... I don't mean in places where they void body fluids... but like paws and heads. the bigger cat is very protective of the smaller one. they are brothers born the same day from the same mom and dad. they like to sleep next to each other and are always causing mayhem around the house... as of 3 hours ago we only have one cause the big one was attacked by a dog and doesn't seem to want to live. the small one just sits and cries.

so no I don't think your cat or cats are gay they just love each other. perhaps the female cat is taken or something and your cat smelled it?

Gay is a human thing. Your cats are playing, or at least one of them is. The other may not like it.

LOL...Your cat is not gay. My older male cat is gay. He likes to hump mens legs.
