It can take a few weeks for all of the inflammation to go down. As long as it does not look infected (discharge, etc) then it should be fine.

It takes a few weeks. When we got my cat they had already done the procedure two days before we got her. They said it would take a few weeks. If you have other cats keep the kitty away from them so they dont fight you wouldnt want her to get hurt. Also dont give her a bath if thats something she likes keep her away from water it can cause an infection

Check with your veterinarian for she may have developed a hernia which will require your vet's help ; she may be just fine and it is just a normal part of the surgery although my female companion did not have the lump you described after the same surgery .
I would check with your vet just to be safe and for your own peace of mind .

Yes it is normal. We had a kitten spayed on the 18th and she is due to have her sutures removed next week. The area is still slightly pink and swollen.

All scar tissue will be reabsorbed. It'll take 2 months for the fur to grow all the way back in but by then you shouldn't be able to feel anything different there.
