I'm moving on Friday of next week and I am driving about 300 miles to my new house. I have to take a pretty curve mountain road because the only other way to get there is a higher mountain road with snow. So it going to take about 6 or 7 hours total. My cat likes car rides, but obviously has never gone on a trip like this and she's a yowler. I'm going to talk to my vet Monday about it, but would like to avoid drugging her if possible. Any suggestions for keeping both of us sane? I would also like to just drive down there all at once instead of breaking it up becuase I think it would be better for us both. Thanks!

well once again i have to take her to vet to get her deworming medicane i don't know whats wrong i put flea stuff on her i got 2 cats and the other one doesn't have that much problems.
I think it might be because my sister recently brought in a stray and he's covered with fleas it seems and she doesn't take care of it and i can't aford to take care of her animal and i can only aford to do that to me. is it cruel to keep them locked in my room away from the other cat? I hate doing this I really want my cat to be worm free and it sucks if i have to go every 2 or 3 months :(

I got some 'monster' slippers for Christmas (the big furry sort) and now the cat runs away every time she sees them, she even strikes a hunting pose and attacks them!!!

Seriously, are cats this stupid that they can't distinguish a slipper from another animal?

She's a siamese mix and she always burrows under anything that keeps her covered. She's always been like that and I think it's odd. She's very friendly and loving, but odd.

My mom, and her bf, went away for about 8 days, and left there cat Simba, in a maintence bathroom, with food and water. Nobody, came to look after him. I feel bad for Simba. Is this considered abuse, or neglect?

I am looking for a non-toxic, non harmful way to stop this. I have tried playing David Hasselhoff's records at it, but to no avail. LOL That maybe seen as noise pollution? Anyway do you have an answer for me. Thanks.

I'm getting a new cat tommorow and she lived with my grandma and grandpa. How can I help her adjust? She will be living with me, my mom, my little brother (6) and 2 dogs. Affenpinscher and Rottweiler. She doesn't like dogs and she's used to living with another cat/kitten.

Although I love dogs, I have no desire to get a dog. I really dont have time for a dog at this point in my life. I keep chasing the cats out but they all return and now I think one of them is in heat. The animal control takes forever to respond. How can I safely and humanely get rid of these cats.

How much as in milimetres, litres...etc. Also would it be ill if it was just licking the shampoo that's on itself(dried shampoo).

He is an light orange and cream long haired tabby. He is really sweet and loves to be rubbed 24/7. I just can't think of a name for him. I have a cat named Sophie and a Cockapoo named Ruby, so he is going to be the man of the house. What do you think?

PS: This is a serious questions

The litter box is in the kitchen, but then in the morning he went and peed in the box, but about 20 minutes later the smell lead me underneath my bedside table, it was a huge poop! Why the heck did he do that? i thought cats were "naturally litter trained"?
Can I re-train him? What do I do?

I had picked him up last Spring. Unfortunately, he was killed by a car an hour ago... Should I feel guilty about this death? I should have treated him better. Why God took him from me? :(

My cat was draging his butt against the carpet while a chunk of poop was hanging out for a while and wanted out. I let him out and he just pooped almost immediatly and then he pooped again. He is acting weird and is now (after pooping) on a dry ledge away from the rain but won't come in. He is kinda curling up. Please Help!! Please be serious.
