She's a siamese mix and she always burrows under anything that keeps her covered. She's always been like that and I think it's odd. She's very friendly and loving, but odd.

My cat does that also. She is a siamese mix-calico. She's always going under blankets. She has her little baby blanket and she covers her head too and falls asleep under there. All you can see is a lump! It's so cute but I don't know how she can breathe in there!

My cat does that all the time. At night I think she does it because it's it's like sleeping with her litter when she was younger because it kind of a confined space and also my house gets cold at night so it nice and warm. Plus she sleeps right next to me under the covers so she always knows her mommy is right there. She also does it during the day when she's playing with her toys. She dives under a rug or blanket when we play to hide from her "prey" and attack it better. Besides at a year old they still have kitten brains and being under something is a whole new exciting adventure. Try rubbing her or gently pushing her a little when she under the blanket. She'll go nuts and try to attack you through the blanket. My cat loves it!

I don't know, some cat, and dogs like to burrow under covers or anything that they can crawl under. It may be the comfort of a small space like a security blanket.

That's cute I bet. Some cats do this because they feel safe out of view, or because they want to feel like they are still babies, because the mother cat often covers her litter. Really it's just instinct. Your cat finds comfort covered up. One of mine do too. Unlike the other who insists on perching on top of high things like the fridge or a high shelf.

My cats do the same thing. Your cat is up all night long and she is just wanting to sleep is all. Let her cover up the way she likes to and let her be. If you make your place dark during the day you will find out that she is just wanting to sleep in the dark.

Just the way she is cats have their habits that is a way she likes to be comfortble like when you cover yourself with a blanket. Cats like to be in dark hidden places.

Many cats like to be in covered, small spaces. I think it helps them to feel safe.

Because it makes her feel safe! My jack russell will not go to bed unless he's got a blanket to cover his face with - strange eh? Its our pets quirkiness thats makes us love them so much ha ha.

Mine does this, too. I think it is because he wants to be warm, secure, and he actually thinks he is "hiding."
