You can wash your cat in Dawn dish liquid, if your brave enough.
Other wise just get a flea collar and be done with it.

Cats mostly don't like water - don't bother trying to get her to like it, because it won't be helping the flea problem. Bathing does not deal with fleas. Neither do any 'home remedies' - fleas are just too tough for them. And don't bother with any store-bought flea stuff because stores aren't licensed to sell the appropriate stuff for flea treatment, their stuff doesn't work.
Get some Frontline, Advantage, Revolution or Advocate from a vets - these actually work and are safe, unlike store-bought stuff.

advantage flea medicine works best but if you dont want to put poison on the cat you could haul out a flea comb and brush it a lot for the next few weeks and seriously deep clean your house everyday nad dont let the cat outside ~ as far as water goes you have to start reeeeeally young, and some breeds take to it better then others as well (like maine coons)

to keep fleas away, I have to say Advantage. Have tried many home remedies and they all failed. Go with the drugs. As for water, if you start them young, get them used to water and being bathed, they will accept it and sometimes, even look forward to it. Dont wait till they are 5 years old like I did and THEN try to bath the cat. Mine cries like a baby at the very sight of water.

2 parts tea tree oil and 1 part water mixed in a bowl and sponged all over your pet is supposed to kill fleas. Don't try to drip it all over them, just sponge it on...too much might hurt the animal. I suppose it can't help if the fleas are all in the house unless you get rid of them in the house also, so you should probably try other remedies like Borax laundry detergent. Good luck and God bless!
