Well, It wasn't my fault and we don't even think that he is even alive but there's a meduim chance he is and an even smaller chance he's the dad of my cat's kittens. ( they are only 6-8 months the prregant cat!)

I guess your worries are based on the belief that breeding between close relatives produces genetic abnormality. This is hyped up as something of an urban myth. Yes with a small gene pool in any mammal group there will be some appearance of genetic patterns that might otherwise have been recessive, this could well be unusual eye colour or fur patterning or perhaps minor disorders or diseases you would never even realise were there. You will be very unlikely to experience any problems with the kittens. Many Muslim groups marry their first cousins so have a small gene pool, their chance of a genetic abormality at birth is only very marginally higher than between people who are not blood relatives. Don't worry!

No need to worry, animals are not like humans. Mating with a brother or sister is normal for them and will not cause any problems in the kittens. The age of the animal however might. I've heard that it's best they are way over a year old before having a litter.

Worse case seniro is u lose a kitten or 2. Best cast senairo all kittens r perfectly healty. Mostly like seniaro is one kitten ends up with slight birth deffect aka deformed paw or somethin. Don't fret in mama cat is in no danger and inbreeding happens alot in the animal kingdow so daddy is also uncle no big.

Are the cats pure bred? Pure bred cats already have a high chance for genetic illnesses so incest is definitely trouble.

If your cats are mixed, there is still a chance for genetic illness but not as bad. Incest do occur frequently with animals but it takes a few generations of consistent incest to see a major problem. If there is a litter, make sure to spay and neuter all of them. Aside from that, there is not much you can do.

well, when you get your cat spayed they can ( i know it's sad but it can be done ) remove the kittens. Basically giving her an abortion. It happened with my kitten patches. She had sex with her brother simba and when i took her to get spayed they informed me she was pregnant. They gave her an abortion but it costed me extra. It worked out since inbred kittens aren't a good idea.

well dats natural for cats. 1 of my class mates cat had children and when they grew up they were making love and we was just laughin about it. unlike us humans animals dnt refer to each other as 'brother' and 'sister' to them its just male and female which is pretty natural.
