No diseases but maybe fleas if your cat has them. I am in Switzerland and we have eaten all our rabbits and they tasted very nice.

I thought you people ate snails? I dont think cats like snails. But, hey...us Americans eat cows and it just got in the news that something like 75% of them have a form of leukemia so I shouldn't say anything. Our chickens go through a section in the processing plant where the workers cut out the tumors and alot of our fish in rivers have a high level of mercury. Maybe rabbits aren't so bad after all. Tell your neighbor to get a Rottweiler.

first of all, Declawing shouldn't cease something. he will nevertheless meow and nevertheless prefer out. 2d, in case you do declaw him and he gets out, he would be defenseless, and nevertheless kill issues (a cat I had as a new child killed a great number of issues and had no claws.) Its additionally rather painful to the kitty, and could reason litterbox issues. What to do do - this could continually be an argument, yet you could decrease it very much. You do have some recommendations, yet they are not going to be hassle-free ones. first of all, the thank you to maintain him interior - precise now, you have a cat who has knowledgeable you to open the door whilst he meows, scratches the door, eats the blinds, etc. So, once you preserve him in, this habit will advance, and advance some extra, and then ultimately decrease, and then purely bypass away. that's going to take a month or 2, and in case you enable him out in any respect, in this time whilst he's doing this, you have purely taught him that if he cries, destroys, gets louder, or extra durable, he gets what he needs. it will be annoying, yet persevere. it ought to propose taking down the blinds for a month, or putting on some thing to guard to guard the door. additionally, keep him energetic. confirm he gets a great number of workout and interest whilst he's interior. If he likes treats, you need to be waiting to get him to cease the noise, via first making a click sound along with your tongue so he stops and seems at you, and then take care of. Throw the take care of faraway from the door/window. additionally, whilst he's quietly sitting next to door/window, provide him a take care of. you're preparation the cat to take a seat quietly, and not be noisy with the aid of fact good issues ensue. different element you're able to do is create a cat fence around your outdoor. There are form of large web pages on the thank you to try this, and counting on the back backyard, it ought to no longer value to plenty. and then, theres continually the supervised visits outdoors. positioned a harness on the cat and stroll him like a dogs, yet do certainly no longer enable him outdoors via himself on a line - its too risky! As for rabies, there is few aspects interior the U. S. the place its an argument, yet in general your cat, and dogs are actually not at risk for it. Your cat is at risk for worms, FIV, FeLK, Fleas, Distemper, and different ailments. on account that your cat spends area of his time outdoors, the two the dogs, and cat must be on a month-to-month heartworm/flea/tick preventative.

Well, if you consider mange or ringworm a disease. Fleas for sure. And parasites like tapeworm. However none of them are life threatening. If your cat is vaccinated then even rabies isn't a concern.

Most cat 'diseases' are species specific--only affecting cats.
