My new kitten got scared and climbed right under the parked car and now has a couple of oil/grease marks on his fur. Does anyone know a product that can clean it off. I am in Australia so would need products that we can buy here (I dont think we can buy Dawn here). Thanks!!!

At what height could one be dropped from a building, person I know lives in a high rise block and he regularly drops strays from like 4 or 5 floors up but says they always land and run away, he is now talking about moving up a few floors but to me, this sounds dangerous? What is the highest you have seen/known a cat to be dropped from and survive(with no broken bones)?

I know he died a year ago in april. Well he got uthanized. He was older than me he lived to be 16 or 17. He had to be put down because of old age, heart porblems, kidney problems, diabetes, and arthritis. I miss him because he was a big part of my life. Even though he died a year ago I still think about him. Does anyone have any good stories to cheer me up?

One male is 12 months old and the other is 6 months old. Neither has been fixed at this time. The little one is using my couch cushion as a litter box. I have had cats for years and never had this problem. They use the litter box most of the time and I keep it cleaned out. Are they trying to be territorial? Neutering will be in 3 weeks. Will this make them stop? Thanks in advance.

We just got this cat yesterday and I will be petting her on her head really gently and she will bit me and claw me and then hiss at me. Last night she gave me this glare that was kinda freaky. Is she playing or should I get rid of her? I can't take this everyday.

Hi! Its hard to explain my question because my english is limited but I will try. I got this cat from the street, he was dirty hungry homeless cat. He loved to stay with me and was very active and playfull. Lately he sleep 24/7only wake up to eat something and he dotn eat too much. I feed his with whiskas because my other cat love it. When he go to potty its mostly liquid , he dont wash himself anymore, all he does trying to sleep somwhere but before he like massage with his pawws place where he want to sleep until he fall asleep. Toys and playing seems to be leave him indiferent. Do you think its something wrong and if yes what should I do? I dont want him to suffer, he dont seem like having pains but just very lazy, sleepy tired all the time. Thank you very much for your answer!

One of my male cats is lean but has a "pooch" in his lower abdominal area-and always has since he was fixed. While petting him I playfully jiggled his pooch and felt a pinhead size bump. Could a male cat have a nipple down there or is it something else? I tried to check it out more but he really doesn't like his belly touched.

This may seem like an odd or even stupid question, but I am thinking about adopting another cat, and i was wondering if I need to get it a separate litter box from my other cat?

I was quite upset about my cats playing behaviour, I thought that everytime my little kitten was playing near the other one, my older cat didn't like it and that's why he screamed at her. But now after watching them closely for a few days, I've noticed that my older cat (3 years old) is constantly yells at her everytime she goes near him, and I've noticed that he attacked her from behind on several occasions and bit her neck, staying on top of her! My poor little kitten, Kia doesn't know what's happening, she is shocked because a few weeks ago they were both playing happily together!! My other cat, Mango is VERY aggressive towards her and everyone in the house, and he is a monster really, I didn't think that a neutered cat can still behave so aggressively, and still have mating behaviour! I tried to seperate them, it doesn't help.Did anyone else experience something similiar? What can I do to calm him down? How long will he behave like this??? Please help!

My husband has a deep, secret flaw that I've recently unearthed, and I must learn how to retrain him. He's a tortie-phobe -- he irrationally thinks torties are evil because of their flecked fur and untrustworthy golden eyes. It's broken my heart that I'm married to a cat racist. He dotes on our domestic greys, and he adores just about every other kind of kitty (and they adore him as well), but somewhere, somehow, a tortie hurt him real bad, and now he's scarred for life.

How can I make him stop (tearfully sniffing) judging and discriminating based on fur color?

How did my cat get worms from fleas?... being an indoor cat ? I know that sounds really stupid however he is declawed and has never been outside yet he keeps getting these tapeworms (long white strings out his A#$) I hate them and I can't seem to get rid of them they keep coming back. I have nedication here from the vet and frontline, I use it regularly on him and never see any fleas. He is a siamese (tan color) seems like they would be easy to see when he is laying on your lap, I look all the time and see nothing. I take good care off him and don't get it.....

Recently, he's been sticking to killing mice, rats, and bugs, but today, he killed a rabbit that was TWICE HIS SIZE! I have no idea what to do! My father says he'll get my cat put down if this continues, but I don't want that to happen. I'm desperate! Any ideas?
